Everyone's Business
Dog owners and custodians must:
• keep their dogs on a leash if the area is so designated,
• control their dogs, and
• pick up and take away their dog’s feces
Dogs must:
• wear a license
• be vaccinated, and not be aggressive.
A maximum off four dogs per guardian is allowed in the park

The Allen Park Dog Exercise Area( DEA), 100 Allen road, Gatineau, offers 4000 square meters of fenced in space for your dog. A dog friendly rock dust covers a section of the park. It also has a parking area for its users. |

The off-leash dog park is located in the undeveloped area of Jardins-Lavigne park (Bois-Franc Avenue, Aylmer).This park is greatly appreciated by dog walkers. Our association installed benches and ask its visitors to insure its cleanliness.

Closing of the Riverain Dog Park
Since March 2017, the City Council has ruled that dogs are no longer allowed in the Riverain dog park (off or on leash). This decision was based on the necessity to protect the eco-sensitivity of the park the latter being a strategic nesting zone for marine fauna.
